Maria Bohle has been Director of the British Institute of Homeopathy USA office since 2001. She began her career in the Institute as an Instructor in 1995 and love teaching and training tomorrow’s homeopaths. Maria is very passionate in what she does and guides every student in every step of the way. Prior to the Institute, Maria is a renowned herbalist and a professional homeopath in South Jersey where she helped adults and children deal with and overcome issues such as Post Emotional Trauma, autoimmune disorders and nutritional imbalances.

Maria graduated from Harvard University in 1980 and pursued the study of Homeopathic Medicine in the late 1980’s after a homeopath cured her of a bad case of Lyme Disease. Maria had been ill for 3 years, on antibiotics, and felt she was dying. “I had chronic fatigue, mental impairment, joint pains and digestive issues. She was so impressed with the abilities of homeopathic medicine she just had to study this wonderful, gentle way of repairing health. Too ill to travel, the British Institute of Homeopathy was a prayer answered, she studied while convalescing and became a professional homeopath.

Maria holds a Diploma of the Institute and a Doctorate of Homeopathic Medicine from the United Kingdom. She later earned her Clinical Nutrition Diploma. Maria is a past herbalist, grows culinary and medicinal herbs on her organic farm and was an Emergency Medical Technician for 15 years.

Maria continues as Education Director and faculty for the BIH, and is in Private Practice in NJ. “I love being a homeopath, I see miracles every day!”

Dr. Ashok Borkar has been practicing classical homeopathy since 1990. He runs a busy clinic in Goa, India with his able staff of classical homeopaths and his clinic has now earned a reputation for being the ”go to” place for so called incurable diseases.

Dr. Ashok Borkar is a distinguished international teacher of Homeopathy and has taught in various cities of India and in different countries like Hungary, Mexico, Israel, and Australia.

His clinic is an institution where homeopaths from all over the world come to sharpen their skills and grasp the finer nuances of clinical practice.

His practice and teachings are based on the classical homeopathy literature handed down to us by masters like Hahnemann, Boenninghausen, Burnett, Kent, Clark and J. H. Allen.

The first book written by Dr. Ashok Borkar, “ Pathology Factor in Remedy Selection “ was received very well by the homeopathy fraternity and since then he has written 3 more books viz. “Blockbuster in homeopathy”, “Lesser known rheumatic remedies” and his latest offering, the “Diabetes repertory”, in which he has advocated a new technique of managing diabetes with homeopathy.

Dr. Ashok Borkar offers simple solutions to the complex problems faced in practice in cases of Rheumatism, Neurological disorders, PCOD, Thyroid disorders, Diabetes, Chronic kidney disease, and other multi-miasmatic diseases.

He is well versed in traditional methods like repertory, materia medica, keynotes as well as the modern sensation method.

His methods have been proven effective in clinical situations. Dr. Ashok Borkar has truly taken homeopathy to a higher level of proficiency.
